Mission

The EORTC Summit aims to serve as a unique, high‑level forum bringing together all stakeholders involved in clinical cancer research. Its mission is to connect disciplines and perspectives to address the scientific, methodological, regulatory, and policy challenges of cancer research.

By convening the cancer research community in one place, the Summit seeks to foster collaboration and pragmatic solutions that advance patient‑centred, innovative, and sustainable clinical research.

Objectives

  • Provide a one‑stop, multi‑stakeholder platform where all key aspects of clinical cancer research are discussed in an integrated and practical manner;

  • Address topics such as advanced methodologies, pragmatic trials, registries, complex trial designs, data science, and emerging technologies;

  • Facilitate cross‑stakeholder dialogue and enhance collaboration between researchers, clinicians, industry, regulators, policymakers, funders, and patient representatives;
  • Strengthen the quality and relevance of evidence generation in clinical cancer research by focusing on real‑world applicability and methodological rigour.
