A two-day training course for cancer patients, caregivers, and patient advocates

The course program has been co-developed together with patient partners of EORTC.

The course will be conducted in English and is aimed for cancer patients, caregivers of cancer patients, family members, patient advocates, and patient representatives.

It will give you an opportunity to meet clinical oncologists and other people with lived experience of cancer.

Our Programme

Friday,
25 November 2022

After the introduction to cancer biology, you will be presented multidisciplinary approaches to cancer treatments, followed by regulatory framework of clinical research and medicine development.

Saturday,
26 November 2022

Day 2 will provide you with insights into the methodology of clinical trials and impact of artificial  intelligence on the diagnosis and treatment. The day will close with an interactive session dedicated to patient involvement and patients’ needs.

Our Faculty

The EORTC Patient Days Programme Committee is composed of experienced patient advocates whose mission is to encourage education for cancer patients and their family members, as well as to increase public awareness and understanding of clinical research.
In this role, the Committee members were supported by the EORTC HQ staff members and directors.
